Traveling can be boring! From long train rides to never-ending walks, I have a bunch of downtime between destinations. It’s important to have something that keeps me engaged during this time. I'll sometimes complete schoolwork, watch a show or movie, or blog to pass the time. But, most of the time, I’m listening to music!

My love for music was ignited during my childhood. I would listen to my mom sing and blast popular Latin songs like Eres Mía by Romeo Santos and AMARGURA by KAROL G while she spent the weekend cleaning the house. Seeing my mom do this almost every weekend is probably why I’m only productive while listening to music. For example, if I’m doing homework, I’m likely listening to music, or if I’m showering, I’m playing music. As I am writing this I am actively listening to music.
